Enjoy some of our photos! It doesn't matter if it's spring calving, summer haying, or fall preparations for  winter, there's never a dull moment!

Chuck, Bobbi, and Riley

We truly appreciate your business and your support of local agriculture. We are blessed with being able to do what we love!

Training Days

Riley's first few weeks, back in the milking days.

Heading out to work

We use our Border Collie, Riley for most of our herd work.

Caught in the Flood

Chuck bringing the cows in by boat after getting stranded by high water.

Hay Season

We put up all our own hay on the farm.

Dutch Oven Cookoff!

We make sure and make time for some great country cookin' competitions at the farm!

Fall Steers

Here's some of the boys. This should be titled, "Always eating!"

Margie the Red Head

This little gal needed a little supplemental feeding early on. Mom didn't seem to mind the help!

Herfy, Our Mascot

Chuck gives a well-deserved scratch to the queen bee, Herfy. She thinks she's the pet.

Lumpy Leeds Love Too!

This steer was a puppy dog and loved to be scratched.

Up Close and Personal!

"Take my picture!"

Give Me A Reason

Riley keeps check on some of the steers.

The Fruits of Our Labor

We're done with hay season!! It's in the barn and it sure makes you feel good! This will feed just fine this winter!

Oliver's Pal

Oliver, our bottle baby receives a comforting scratch from our neice, who comes to stay with us for a week each summer. She's a BIG help on the farm.

Blue Ribbon Beef

We got a blue ribbon at the fair for our hay!

Finishing touches

Some of the steers about a month from butcher

Fall is here

Fall has come to the valley and that means its time to prepare for floods and whatever winter may bring.

Visiting Maasai

We had the priveledge to give a tour of our farm to a visiting teacher, and Maasai tribesman, from Kenya.

Girls, Meet the Boys!

The bulls arrive in June, and stay until August or so. The one one the left is a red angus, the one on the right is a hereford. We use a different bull every 2 years. Always a hereford or angus.

Doing what they do best, EAT!

Ahhhh, it's good to be a cow!

Checking the Hay

Chuck checks the hay for dryness

The End of a Long, Hot Day

Picking up the last of the field. A beautiful sunset to end our long day.

Our Awesome Hay Crew!

We can't do this without friends and family all pitching in to help! THANK YOU!

2006 Flood

This flood hit us hard. We were completely under water. Luckily the barns are high and dry. Compare this photo with the one titled "Fall is Here". Floodwaters here can be over 12 feet deep!

BEES

City Apiary in Seattle brought their hives out to make honey out of knotweed. A tenacious weed, but makes SUPERB honey!!!

Heaven on Earth

We enjoy some spectacular views here on the farm that makes us appreciate every day of the year.

First Calf

Spring has arrived! We had the first calf of the year for our 2008 season on March 9th.

Farmer of the Day

We were delighted to be asked to come to the Evergreen State Fair this year as the "Farmer of the Day" for cattlemen. We met some GREAT folks.
